Annual Fund
Every fall, parent volunteers coordinate the gifts to the Annual Fund. We seek unrestricted gifts to enhance our educational mission and provide needed support for school operations. The fund has been very successful in recent years, contributing nearly 10 percent of the yearly Crossroads budget. Many gifts are of modest size, and we encourage participation by all our community members.

Major Gifts
Crossroads has been the fortunate recipient of many gifts since its founding in 1991 in a church basement in Hanover, NH. The church basement was almost immediately inadequate. Most fortunately, local businessman Bayne Stevenson provided the opportunity in 1994 to relocate to a four-acre campus in Lyme, a portion of the condominium complex he built on Dartmouth College Highway. In 1998 Crossroads acquired an additional adjoining 135 wooded acres threaded by Hewes Brook, part of the Connecticut River watershed.

Many Hands Campaign
In 2004, a capital campaign was initiated by the Board of Trustees. A revised master campus plan was commissioned for the new land. Architect Greg Hemberger of Banwell Architects produced a plan for a new entry and several buildings. The Bancroft Campus Center opened in 2006. The goal of the campaign, six million dollars, was successfully realized in the fall of 2008. Future plans include new classroom buildings.
