Happy Winter! In the coming weeks, Crossroads will be participating in the Upper Valley Trails Alliance’s Passport to Winter Fun!

The Passport to Winter Fun is a fitness program that encourages children and their families to remain active during the long winter season. Participants are encouraged to be active for at least one hour each day and then track their progress in a booklet resembling a travel passport. As your child progresses through 10, 20 or 30 days of activity within the six-week program period, they are able to receive their choice of a fun incentive prize, such as a free pass for ice skating or rock climbing. At the end of the program, each child that finishes 30 days of activity will receive a special Polar Bear Achiever Prize and will be entered into a grand prize raffle.

We are so excited for your child to participate in this fantastic program!

Important dates to remember:

  • January 24: Front flaps must be returned to Mr. McGuigan
  • March 1: Back flaps are due to Mr. McGuigan

One way we can help you and your child be successful is by subscribing to the Winter Fun Weekly newsletter that includes program updates, deadlines and reminders. Also, you may visit the website for more information.

If you would like to subscribe, please email passport@uvtrails.org.
