As of yesterday, Grafton county has 215 identified active cases of COVID-19. Lyme has 1-4 active cases, Hanover has 18 active cases, and Lebanon has 24 active cases.

For Vermont families, please visit the vaccine portal at healthvermont.gov for up-to-date vaccine information.  Sign up here for useful weekly vaccine updates from Vermont’s Department of Health.  This may be a good way for Vermonters to stay up-to-date of when it will be your turn to vaccinate.    

 

Medical and Non-Medical Volunteers Needed for Vaccine Distribution

If you find yourself in a position to volunteer during this historic time, New Hampshire is recruiting medical and non-medical volunteersNH Responds is part of a federal effort to coordinate volunteers for broad vaccine distribution.  Sign up at:  Nhresponds.org        

After signing up at NHresponds.org, a criminal background check is required (attached). This may be filled out and e-mailed to David.K.Moore@hitchcock.org There is no fee and it takes less than five minutes.  Having this background check completed will ensure you are cleared to volunteer.

Vaccine Update

Those who are Phase 1B-eligible may sign up at vaccines.nh.gov this Friday, January 22, 2021 and schedule their vaccination appointment.  

  1. NH Governor Sununu recently announced Phase 1B to include those 65 years old and older. 
  2. Any individual, regardless of age, with two or more comorbidities may have one of their physicians sign this form.  Then this form may be emailed to NH DHHS.  The state schedulers will receive the form and be in touch within five business days with appointment options.  

Please pass this information along to your loved ones, friends, and neighbors who fall into any of these 1B categories, so they may be ready to sign up on Friday.  Vaccination leading to immunity is our best bet to get us out of this pandemic.
