Our Middle School Math Club is off to a great start with Dartmouth graduate student Matthew Ellison as its coach. “My goal for Math Club is to create a fun environment for all students and to be a resource for those interested in improving their competition skills,” he says.
Matthew has first-hand experience with middle school math competitions; he represented Vermont at the national MATHCOUNTS competition as a middle schooler. He is now studying graduate-level differential geometry at Dartmouth, and enjoys playing tennis, hiking, reading, and building software. He also juggles!
The Middle School Math Club meets on Monday afternoons from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. in Fanger Room 206. If your child is interested in joining, you may sign him/her up here.
