Happy Fall! With limited access into our buildings please enjoy this little snapshot of our hallway displays and artworks in-progress!
Grade K: Using a variety of lines kindergarten students explored and created exciting compositions. Next, students learned about ROYGBIV (the colors of the rainbow) to complete their masterpieces.
Grade 1: First grade students learned about artist Paul Cézanne and his unique painting style of still-lifes. They took inspiration from his Apple Series.
Grade 2: Second grade students enjoyed creating Chinese calligraphy zodiac characters to integrate with their classroom unit on Ancient China.
Grade 3: Third grade students explored Roman Byzantine mosaics and created their own “bean” tessera creations.
Grade 4: Fourth grade students are exploring the medieval gargoyles of Notre-Dame as they create their own mask sculptures out of plaster cloth.
Grade 5: Fifth grade students took seasonal inspiration as they created organic ink-blown trees in this mixed-media creation.
