On Wednesday, June 5, the Middle School held their very own Tony Awards to recognize the students who made the musical Mary Poppins, Jr. come to life. After learning a bit about the history of the “actual” Tony Awards, each student who participated in the show received an award folder with a certificate for each role or crew job. The students also nominated cast and crew members for awards recognizing their extraordinary contributions to the show.
- Most Valuable Performers: Anji Sharma and Mia Montas-Antigua
- Most Improved Performers: Grace Lan and Sunny Liu
- Most Valuable Ensemble Members: Abigail Williams and Beya Kelley
- Tech Award: Maddie Reder
- Lobby Crew Award: Simone Rosenbloom
- Set Crew Award: Coraline Mann and Caroline Warrington
- Director’s Choice Award: Marie Naiman and Caroline Whitfield
- Music Director’s Choice Award: Anna Davis and Mark Squire
Additionally, six students were recognized for the special talents or efforts in this particular show.

- Joy Award: Alden Smith
- Diligence Award: Sophie Weinstein
- Toughest Song Award: Rena Zinman
- Wonder Award: Lucy Tillinghast
- Hair Award: Stella Hobson
The Tony Awards ended with a video and an ice cream sundae bar. Congratulations to everyone for all of their hard work on a fantastic show!
