We hope that many people will be able to see this year’s Middle School Musical, Bye Bye Birdie, but given the concern over the COVID-19 virus, we ask the following:
- Anyone who is exhibiting any viral symptoms, including mild upper respiratory tract illness such as sore throat, cough, runny nose, sinus congestion, or flu-like illness not attend.
- If you or any family members have traveled to countries that have a CDC travel advisory in the last 14 days, or if you have been exposed to someone with a positive COVID-19 test, we ask that you please stay home.
For those members of our community who are not able to attend the play for any reason, we will also create a video of the performance and provide a link upon your request. For those who plan to attend the play, we ask that you attend only one of the two performances to minimize the number of people in the audience. Thank you.
Furthermore, we will be closing this event to the public, and limiting attendance only to the Crossroads community. We will have hand sanitizer for attendees, as well as ample access to our restrooms where we have multiple sinks available for handwashing.
You can help by practicing the same hygiene practices we are using in school every day as recommended by NH DHHS:
- Avoid shaking hands. Practice regular handwashing with soap and warm water, as well as the additional use of hand sanitizer when needed.
- Cover your cough or sneeze with your sleeve or a kleenex, even if you are healthy.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose, mouth.
- Do not share water bottles or utensils and remind your child to do the same.
The adults in our community are also disinfecting heavily-trafficked surfaces and monitoring the health of our students frequently. So while classes and other learning routines are still in full swing, it is our collective responsibility to mitigate the risk of exposure to this virus at all times, and particularly when we gather as a community.
Should the circumstances change between now and our Friday showing, we will provide additional information.
Thank you for your understanding and please feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
