All artwork will be sent home in an art portfolio at the end of the school year. With COVID safety protocols this year and limits to get on campus and into our buildings, Mrs. Nadeau has provided a little snapshot of our hallway displays and artworks in-progress.

  • Grade K celebrated the 100th day of school with 100 (or more) dot heart art!
  • Grade 1 created these wonderful collage penguins. Inspired by the book, Penguin and Pinecone, a friendship story by Salina Yoon.
  • Grade 2 created these “squirrel eye view” perspective snow figures. Inspired by the book, The First Day of Winter by Denise Fleming.
  • Grade 3 created mixed-media Viking Longships to integrate with their classroom learning.
  • Grade 4 creating winter landscape foam monoprints.
  • Grade 5 created Winter Birch Trees inspired by printmakers Currier and Ives and their iconic winter landscape prints.
  • Grade 6 created Zentangle snowflake designs inspired by Vermont meteorologist Wilson Bentley. The first person to photograph a snowflake! Also, a few in-progress images of students working on their non-objective repoussé metalwork reliefs.
  • Grade 7 created dynamic poses from wooden mannequin forms.
  • Grade 8 created inspired onomatopoeia pop art words.
