We are so happy to hear of pandemic progress, but we still have a way to go before Crossroads can lift our restrictions. In order to keep our community healthy and our school open, Crossroads will continue to require students, faculty, and staff to refrain from returning to school for 10 days if they travel outside of New England; exceptions are noted in our policy.
Because travel still increases an individual’s risk of becoming infected, the CDC advises against public transportation (e.g., airplanes) and recommends delaying travel if possible. New viral variants have emerged across the US and are more contagious particularly in unvaccinated individuals. If your family travels, your child must be in New England on or before April 8 in order to resume in-person school on Monday, April 19.
Please be familiar with the Crossroads Pandemic Travel Policy and NH DHHS travel guidance as you consider your family’s spring travel plans. Kindly reach out to our division heads or school nurses if you would like to discuss travel or aspects of the pandemic travel policy. We are here for you.
