This summer, one of our required summer readings was Bible Stories for Children. We were also assigned to write a skit based on one of the stories. When we were back at school, we voted on four Bible skits, which different groups would perform. The four skits chosen were: “The Ten Commandments,” by Lucy Tillinghast, “Adam and Eve,” by Olivia Elder, “The Golden Calf’,” by Maddie Reder, and “Daniel and the Lions’ Den,” by Charli Swan. I was in Lucy’s Group, along with Brock Laflamme, and Isaac Welch. We were performing “The Ten Commandments”, and I was Narrator and Aaron, Lucy was God, Isaac was Moses, and Brock was the Israelites. We memorized our lines and rehearsed, until it was time to film. Overall, I think our class did pretty well, and all our handmade props looked great! The other few skits I saw while rehearsing were all very nice, and I am proud of the effort our class put in for this project!
