The Crossroads Academy Parent Association is excited to invite you to the first annual Grades 3-5 Family Community Service Project in order to bring kids and parents together to collaborate on a meaningful project. [See the Flyer]
What
An “action” service project for parents and kids to participate in after pick up.
- The Family Place
The Family Place is in need of welcome home infant kits. CAPA will provide the supplies and parents and kids will work together to create kits for our local community members in need.
A representative from The Family Place will be on campus to tell us all how our project will directly benefit our local community. - Hanover Terrace
We would like to send warm greetings to many of the residents who are separated from family during the holiday season. Kids and parents will be able to write cheerful notes to brighten a resident’s day!
*We will follow our school’s COVID protocols (cohort, masked, siblings welcome)
When
Wednesday, December 1 at 2:00 p.m. outside at Bancroft after pick-up. Please pick up your child and park in the upper lot.
Who
Parent(s) and their children from the 3-5 grade cohort – please no unattended children!
- Additional Donations
If families would like to make additional donations, items needed include new or gently used baby blankets, knit hats, stuffies, and books as well as bibs, diapers, ointment, wipes, and burp cloths.
