Dear Crossroads Community,
Please join the third, fourth, and fifth grade classes as they work to make the season bright for others. This year’s winter service project will be building activity kits for seniors at the Grafton County Nursing Home. It is our turn to give back to a generation that gave all of us so much. COVID has limited many seniors from interacting with their community so they have turned to small group activities such as crafting, writing letters, and jigsaw puzzles. The third, fourth, and fifth graders will be collecting the following items to make baskets that will be delivered by the teachers before our holiday break.
If you are interested in donating, please consider donating from the following list of suggestions:
- Large jigsaw puzzles no larger than 300 pieces
- Large print Word Search books
- Black or blue ink pens
- Coloring books for adults
- Colored gel pens
- Wooden craft kits
- Stationery
*We could use a few decorative baskets to place the items in for delivery.
Please bring your items in by Monday, December 13, 2021.
