The Martin Family Scholarship was established in 2025 to honor Marjorie and Gene Martin for their combined 32 years of service to the Crossroads Academy community.
Marj Martin brought a wealth of passion and experience to her second-grade classroom. Her commitment to Core Knowledge and Core Virtues remained at the forefront of all lessons, fostering a classroom environment where creativity, curiosity, and compassion flourished.
Gene Martin’s unwavering work ethic and generosity ensured a safe and beautiful campus, inspiring colleagues and students. From simple acts of kindness to undertaking huge projects, Gene was always there to support the Crossroads community.
Together, the Martins prioritized the students, embodying a love and dedication that touched everyone at Crossroads Academy.
To honor their legacy, the Martin Family Scholarship Fund has been established to support the school’s endowment. This need-based scholarship will be awarded annually to a deserving student who exemplifies the values the Martins championed, ensuring their impact resonates for generations to come.
