What is CAPA?
Crossroads Academy Parent Association
Rhymes with Zappa (as in Frank), Dappa (as in dressed up and lookin’ great) Snappa, (ok you get it…)
Crossroads Academy Parent Association (CAPA) is committed to building community by providing opportunities for parents and families of students to participate in ongoing school activities. CAPA will host events, support our school’s mission in partnership with Dan Morrissey, our new Head of School.
You will be receiving emails throughout the year from CAPA Communications – that’s us! Please read them for important updates and ways we can continue to connect with each other. Your room parents will be your in-class resource and we thank them for volunteering their time this year as an important part of CAPA.
How Can You Become Involved?
- VOLUNTEER! We will need help with the Family Fall Festival, school events, and the Crossroads Fund Auction. Please reach out to a CAPA committee member to share your interest.
- Attend meetings in person or via Zoom and share ideas!
- Send us fun news to use in our CAPA Connections feature in the weekly newsletter. Please send any ‘good news’ you may have to share about your Crossroads’ student(s) or family.
- Contact parentassociation@crossroadsacademy.org.
Did you know?
All parents and guardians of Crossroads’ students are automatically members of CAPA.
CAPA Connections
One way we aim to connect with one another is through our section of the Weekly. Please send us fun news to use for our special feature, CAPA Connections. We are looking for stories about our Crossroads’ families out and about in the community – we want to share GOOD NEWS with each other!
