Katie earned a BA from the University of New Hampshire in History and Education and her MS in Sport Management at Southern New Hampshire University. With over a decade of experience in education, Katie has taken her talents to nearby Dartmouth College and Kimball Union Academy. As a graduate of Kimball Union Academy, it was fitting for her career in education administration to start there. During her tenure, she supported the annual fund campaign and the schools Bicentennial Campaign, was a key partner to the Admission Office, and led the stewardship and alumni relations efforts of the school. Most recently, Katie served as the Director of Alumni Relations at New Hampton School, an independent school located in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire. As the director, she played a key role in the schools capital campaign and grew the alumni relations program through the establishment of a formal Alumni Association, increased volunteer opportunities, and expanded alumni engagement initiatives.
Throughout her career, relationship building has been at the core of her success and her commitment to education has been a driver in her everyday work. Katie believes in our Core Knowledge Curriculum and our teachers who make Crossroads such a special place to learn. She is excited to bring her talents to Crossroads and to strengthen the relationships she has established within the extended Crossroads community and the Upper Valley in support of the school’s continued growth and success.
In her free time, Katie enjoys spending time near the water with a good book, enjoying long walks with her 6 month old golden retriever, Winnie, and exploring the many treasure of the Upper Valley with family and friends.
